51³Ô¹Ï Me

Originally from Washburn, I’ve built my nursing career in Bismarck—a community that has become both my home and the heart of my professional journey. My husband Tom and I have two boys, Peyton and Landon. Our family is rounded out by our loyal dog, Astro, who joins us on many of our outdoor adventures.  I enjoy walking, hiking, kayaking, and biking through the changing seasons of ND. When indoors, you’ll find me reading, baking, or working on puzzles.  My journey in nursing has come full circle through teaching. It’s my way of giving back to a profession that has given me so much. I’m passionate about helping future nurses grow into confident, compassionate professionals who will make a meaningful difference in healthcare.

Why I’m At Mary

Teaching at the University of Mary allows me to blend my passion for nursing and education while guiding the next generation of knowledgeable, compassionate nurses. The university’s dedication to excellence, servant leadership, and ethical values aligns with my teaching philosophy, making it a truly fulfilling place to inspire and support our future nurses in their journey.

Expertise

For nearly 25 years, nursing has been my passion, with experience in medical/oncology, cardiac care, case management, and utilization review.
